Following the Education Bureau's decision to suspend all classes at kindergartens and Schools within Hong Kong, we would like to inform you that English Excel will continue to operate as normal.
We would like to reassure you that the health and safety of our staff and students is of the utmost importance and we are taking the following steps to reduce risks:

• All those entering English Excel Schools will have their temperature taken, anyone with a fever will be asked to leave.

• All teachers and students are required to wear masks during lessons. Child and adult masks are available at all schools.

• Staff showing flu like illnesses will be asked not to work.

• All students and teachers are required to disinfect their hands with alcohol before entering classrooms.

• All high use areas of classrooms (tables, chairs, door handles etc.) are disinfected with alcohol spray after every lesson.

• Cups of water will not be given during lessons; students may bring their own water bottles instead.

We thank you for your support and understanding and ask for your cooperation with the following: Please keep your child at home if they have a fever or are displaying flu like symptoms. Inform us immediately if your child has fallen ill or been admitted to hospital with a suspected case of H1N1.

Once again English Excel's March Trinity results were excellent. All our students passed, with 92% receiving a distinction or merit. The examiner, Ms. Bagley, gave very positive feedback. She commented that the students had "super vocabulary", "good fluency." and were "well prepared".
More than half of the examinees did Grade 4 and above, with three doing the more difficult grades 7, 8 & 10. All these levels the students have to do a lot of preparation and practice both with their teachers and at home. Their hard work certainly paid off.

We would like to congratulate all our students who took Trinity Examinations on 8th & 15th November.100% of students achieved A/B grades, with most students achieving grade A.

Once again students at English Excel received outstanding grades in the Trinity Oral exams. All the students achieved a passing grade and 96% achieved A-B grades. Thank you to all the students, teachers and parents who helped to make this another successful session.

English Excel has launched a charity campaign to help improve the education of children in Hong Kong and China. We will be supporting two charities; CNY Trust, a UK based charity who are responsible for building schools in the Hebei province of China and Oxfam Hong Kong who work with a number of local community based projects.
